True Albino Teacher mushrooms are a distinctive laboratory-derived variant isolated from the Golden Teacher lineage. It was first isolated in 2019, and quickly became the most popular albino strain.

TAT mushrooms have pure white caps and stems with the caps sometimes developing a blue spot in the middle of the cap. The mushrooms can range from short and thick to tall with big caps that open widely. TAT bruises intensely blue where injured, with the bruising sometimes becoming black in color due to the intensity.
