This variety produces dense clusters of medium-sized mushrooms with golden-brown to tan caps that often display subtle purple undertones, particularly around the margins. The caps typically measure 2-4cm in diameter and develop from rounded to broadly convex at maturity. Purple Mystic is known for its prolific fruiting, often producing numerous mushrooms in tight canopy formations. The stems are sturdy and pale, supporting well-proportioned caps. This strain demonstrates vigorous colonization and reliable multi-flush production, making it a favorite among researchers studying Florida variants.
