The Leucistic Golden Teacher phenotype emerged as a naturally occurring mutation of the classic Golden Teacher strain under controlled laboratory conditions. This variety exhibits all the characteristic features of Golden Teacher but displays creamy white coloration instead of the typical golden hues. The leucistic trait results in reduced pigmentation in the fruiting body while maintaining normal spore coloration, distinguishing it from true albino varieties which lack all pigmentation.
