The Panaeolus cyanescens Australia phenotype was first documented in subtropical regions of Australia in 2008. This variety produces delicate mushrooms with slender, pale stems and small bell-shaped caps ranging from light tan to grayish-brown. The caps typically measure 1-2cm in diameter and maintain their conical shape throughout development. As shown in cultivation, this strain fruits prolifically in dense clusters, with numerous pins emerging simultaneously across the substrate. The Australian variety is known for its thin, fibrous stems that can reach 8-10cm in height despite their delicate appearance.
Our liquid cultures arrive in high-quality 10cc laboratory-grade Luer-Lok syringes. Each order includes a sterile 1-inch, 16-gauge needle for microscopy slide dispensing.
All LC sold is for microscopy, taxonomy, or general collection uses only.

This culture has been difficult to get established. It will require lots of patience extremely careful sterilization techniques. It was prone to easy contamination. I’m still trying to get a good liquid culture jar going. Definitely for someone with experience and patience I think.
