The Albino Riptide phenotype is a true albino hybrid developed by crossing True Albino Teacher with Tidal Wave genetics. This variety produces pure white fruiting bodies completely lacking pigmentation, including in the spores. The mushrooms grow in abundant clusters with small to medium rounded caps that maintain their dome shape through maturity. Thick, sturdy stems support the well-proportioned caps. Albino Riptide exhibits vigorous growth characteristics inherited from both parent strains – the reliable fruiting of True Albino Teacher combined with the aggressive colonization of Tidal Wave. The strain is known for producing dense carpets of mushrooms across the substrate. As a true albino variety, it produces clear, unpigmented spores suitable for microscopy research.
