Alabama Magic mushrooms were originally discovered in a cattle pasture located Alabama, USA. It quickly gained attention among collectors for its distinctive appearance and vigorous growth.
The caps of the mushrooms are small to medium starting as bell-shaped before maturing to a more convex form. They have pale ivory surface that may develop subtle bluish or silvery tones, contrasting with the dark purple-black gills beneath. In our laboratory notes, Alabama Magic consistently produces a symmetrical cap profile that maintain their pale coloration uniformly. This is unlike any other Pan Cyan phenotype. Perhaps microscopy experiments could produce the first albino Panaeolus cyanescens mushroom.
The stems are slender, fibrous, and light brown, typically 6–10 cm tall. Clusters often form densely, creating some of the most impressive uniform canopies of any Pan Cyan phenotype.
